Stay in Star, Bird and Hiking Heaven

You will be staying in a brand new, fully furnished, beautiful adobe home in a High Desert Paradise.

The house has 1600 sq. ft., with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, laundry facilities, a fully-outfitted kitchen and a spectacular view of world-renowned Cave Creek Canyon. The house is 3 miles from the entrance to the geologically unique Canyon, which supports an ecosystem found nowhere else on earth.

Using the house as your base, you can explore the magnificent Chiricauhuas and the Chiricahaua National Monument, which is an hour's drive away. The Chiricauhua Mountains are the largest of the "Sky Island" mountain ranges in the Coronado National Forest.

You can also hike, backpack, take a horseback ride into the Chiricauhuas and camp for as long as you would like in Coronado National Forest. Rock climbing and mountain biking are also right outside your front door. Within a few hours drive are Anasazi Ruins with petroglyphs and thousand-year-old excavated pueblos, and one hour away are the Kartchner Caverns State Park , said to be larger and more magnificent than Carlsbad Caverns in nearby New Mexico.

You will also have access to the Southwestern Research Station, part of the American Museum of Natural History, which is 5 miles up the Canyon. It provides an unparalleled setting for basic research into the ecology, behavior, evolution, and taxonomy of animals and plants in their natural environments.

The house is rented for a minimum of two nights. There is a 10% discount for rentals of 7 nights or more.
